Fair trade fortnight ALL year groups will spend two lessons on Fair Trade.  Each year group will have a different task.

The course is exam based and is sat as two separate examinations both 1 hour and 30 minutes in length. Both exams are sat at the end of year 11. Each of these papers is worth 33% of the total mark. In addition to the exams, an extended controlled assessment (worth 34%) is written during the summer term of year 10, following a fieldtrip.

The course is designed to enable students to have the opportunity to develop: Communication skills Graphical and cartographical skills Technological skills, including ICT and GIS Interpersonal skills through debate and discussion Literacy and numeracy Problem solving skills Within the context of an examination of the world in which we live.
