GCSE Physics is based on the new Edexcel GCSE course introduced in September 2011. It builds directly on the Key Stage 3 programme and very quickly develops into a rigorous academic course, which will fully equip pupils for further scientific study. All the exams for this GCSE will be taken at the end of year 11. The topics covered include: Universal Physics, Physics for your future and Applications of Physics. The course will also require students to complete a controlled assessment during the final academic year of their GCSE.
