In January 2017, Darren Walden, a Deputy Headteacher, from The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College, chose to support the British Red Cross’s efforts in Syria by setting himself, and embarking on, an epic twelve-month cycle challenge.

Students feature in local theatre’s production of Robin Hood

Three dancers from The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College were on stage from Friday 12th January, until Sunday 21st January, in Rugby Theatre’s recent production ‘Robin Hood and His Merry Men’.

PPE Exams

On Monday 22nd February, your child will begin their next set of pre-public (mock) exams.

These exams are an important milestone in Year 11, and are likely to be the last full set of mock exams your child will complete before their ‘real’ GCSE exams begin in May.
