Non-Uniform and Fancy Dress to Support Children’s Charity.

On Friday 13 November, students and staff at The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College supported the BBC’s Children in Need appeal by holding a non uniform day. Many of the school’s Year 11 students entered in to the spirit and took the event further by completing lessons in fancy dress.

Alison Davies, Headteacher, said, “We support the BBC’s Children in Need appeal every year, and it is nice to see our students and staff supporting such worthy causes. Our Year 11 students have been wonderful showing imagination and creativeness in their costumes, Where’s Wally, Harry Potter and Shaun the Sheep stand out as great examples from the day.”
